'Twilight's' Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez hit Teen Vogue bash! R they or RNT they?

Taylor

There have been ongoing rumors about "Twilight" hunk Taylor Lautner dating "Wizards of Waverly Place" cutie Selena Gomez for weeks and weeks.

But Taylor was flying solo Friday night at the seventh annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood bash. Kind of.

Selena was also there. And Radaronline.com talked to her about Taylor's arrival, whether he was nervous and about his Teen Vogue cover. All things a girlfriend would definitely know.

She says she saw the photos from the shoot and thought they rocked. Surely he only showed his girlfriend?

Check out Taylor's Teen Vogue photos here!

When pressed, Selena admits she would prefer to be a vampire, not a werewolf.

Taylor has to have a talk with that girl and get her on his team.

Teen Vogue Launches Its Haute Spot at South Coast Plaza

Teen-vogue-1By Emili Vesilind; Source: LA Times

Orange County ’tweens and teens flooded South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa on Saturday morning to shop (or contentedly loiter) at Teen Vogue’s new pop-up event space, Teen Vogue Haute Spot, which opened over the weekend in its own storefront at the swanky mall.

Opening day featured a fashion presentation with models illustrating a handful of fall trends: leather, glam-rock and something called “homeward bound” (“Teen Vogue’s way of camping,” explained the moderator).

The buzzing outpost, which is open through Sept. 27, boasts a grab bag of teen merch—including a table brimming with Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown makeup and teen-targeted perfumes like Marc Jacobs Daisy, along with scattered racks of clothes culled from retailers around the mall, including H&M, Paul Frank, Roxy, Coach and Gucci.

But none of it’s for sale in the pop-up. If shoppers want to purchase an item, they head to the store that carries it, then return with their receipt to pick up a swag bag full of makeup and fashion odds and ends valued at $200.

Teen-vogue-2 Friends Carly and Sophie, 13-year-old Newport Beach residents with matching blue rubber bands on their braces, weren’t sold on any of the merchandise, but were happy to hang out, play on the computers and scope out “the models!”

A DJ kicked out the tunes (Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake) from one corner, while models twirled on a small stage set up in another. After the presentation, a gaggle of giggling teens took pictures in front of the Teen Vogue-branded Step-and-Repeat. Scattered throughout the pop-up are computer stations supporting HP laptops—“Twitter your friends right now and have them come down here,” suggested the moderator.

Stephanie Ceveba, a shy 15-year-old from Garden Grove, wandered in with her dad, Javier, who encouraged her to look around. “I think it’s pretty fun in here and I think the models are really pretty,” she said, while rifling through a rack of clothes.

Aya Kanai, contributing editor for Teen Vogue, said the 9-year-old magazine opened an Haute Spot in Short Hills Mall in New Jersey recently, and the company was so thrilled with the response, it was looking to replicate the promotional event out West.

“It’s really a way to show girls how they can take stores in the mall and create the Teen Vogue look,” she said. “The editors create a look that’s very specific – it’s Vogue, but it’s for a younger girl. Girls shop and consume media culture in completely different ways than they have in any other time. That’s the most crucial element in keeping Teen Vogue relevant—keeping up with that.”

The outpost will be buzzing with events over the next three weeks—including the chance to customize your Uggs with an airbrush artist (2 p.m. Sept. 13) and special appearances by “Gossip Girl’s” lead stylist Eric Daman (Sept. 20) and Amy Astley, Teen Vogue’s editor-in-chief (Sept. 26.) Visit TeenVoguePromo.com for the complete schedule of events.

Taylor Lautner Shows Off His 'New Moon' Muscles In Teen Vogue: Cover Story

by Amy Wilkinson; Source MTV

"Twilight" may have been Taylor Lautner's breakout movie, but "New Moon" will likely be the one that makes him a star. Anyone who's seen even a smidgen of promotion for the sequel knows this is the Taylor show—he even got his own "Meet Jacob Black" trailer. With his star on the rise, the 17-year-old sat down with Teen Vogue (see his full cover image after the jump!) to talk about how he got into acting, the kind of girl that digs Jacob (Selena Gomez, perhaps?) and the constant paparazzi attention.

Growing up in Michigan, Taylor never aspired to be an actor; in fact, his passion was Xtreme Martial Arts, a sport that involves acrobatic flips in addition to the usual punches and kicks. (If you want to see for yourself, just do a YouTube search and you'll find a tiny Taylor flaunting his moves). When he retired at all of 13-years-old he had four world champion titles to his name. It was his coach who suggested he give acting a try. "I liked it. Taking on roles that were the opposite of what I could be in real life? That's still my favorite thing," Taylor said.

Taylor's least favorite thing about his fairly fast rise to fame? The paparazzi. "There are twelve cars that camp outside my house," he marveled. "You can't ever really get used to it, because it's not normal to have people snapping pictures of everything you do. You just have to try not to let it affect you."

Though Taylor's humble about his "Twilight" saga success — "I think the fans would love anybody who played Jacob" — he does have a theory about the kind of girls who love Jacob. "If she likes having a really close friendship with a guy, being able to tell him anything, and then having that friendship slowly transform into something more ..." But Taylor was mum when asked if his relationship with Disney star Selena Gomez followed a similar trajectory, simply saying, "She's a great girl." And don't expect him to spill on that rumored Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart relationship either. "It's crazy," he admits, "but the fans help. They're a big part of the motivation."

Taylor Momsen On Teen Vogue: Cover Story

By Haley Murphy; Source: MTV

“Gossip Girl” Taylor Momsen is keeping busy filming the third season of the stylish CW show and just landed a role on the new cover of Teen Vogue (see the full image after the jump). This time, however, she's being touted for for her music. The 16-year-old singer-actress has glammed up her wardrobe (on the cover, she wears a Burberry trench, a Topshop shirt and a DKNY skirt) and is breaking away from her wholesome image to discuss her role on "GG" and her pop-rock band, the Pretty Reckless.

Taylor says music has always been her first passion and recorded almost all of her freshman album before signing with Interscope Records. "I wanted to have it all done so I could say, ‘Here’s who I am, either you like it or you don’t.'"

She recently told MTV News her music is inspired by everyone from the Beatles to grunge bands like Soundgarden, Audioslave, Hole, Nirvana and maybe a little Joan Jett. Still, her music is very much her own work: “My lyrics are my diary—you’re hearing every detail on my life," she admitted to Teen Vogue.

Taylor has been acting professionally for nearly a decade and feels her adult lifestyle has made her completely independent. “Yeah I kind of grew up in front of the camera: I started modeling when I was two," she said. "I was never pushed into it, but I never really chose it either. That’s why music is so different for me. I’ve known since I was little that this is what I want to do.”

As for her alter-ego Jenny Humphrey on "GG," Taylor doesn't seem to think they would have a whole lot in common. "I live a very adult life. I just can’t relate to what [high school kids] talk about—it seems so petty.”

Emma Watson Eyes Her Own Fashion Line

By LAUREL PINSON

Though she was barely 10 when she landed the now-legendary role of Hermione Granger in the ever-popular Harry Potter series, 19-year-old Emma Watson has certainly done some growing up of late, especially in regards to fashion.

The proof is in the upcoming spread for Teen Vogue's August issue, where she poses in platform Burberry boots, overflowing tulle dresses, and hot leopard tights. Oh, the interview also mentions that she's been wearing so much Chanel lately that she's become friendly with Karl Lagerfeld. (Oh is that all it takes? Sheesh, we'll get right on it!) "'It's kind of my lucky brand,'" she explains to Teen Vogue, though she also highlights other brands she's been wearing like Miu Miu and under-the-radar U.K. talent William Tempest.

It's this kind of of fashion savvy that's gotten her a lot of press in the industry, most recently for becoming the face of Burberry (we tracked down images of the new campaign here). She's taking over the mantle from serious modeling talents like Agyness Deyn and Kate Moss, so clearly the gal's got chops. (Or maybe Burberry was just trying to beat Karl to the punch.)

And now, there are rumors that the dewy star will be launching her own fashion effort--a clothing line geared toward stylish teens, and is seeking advice from high-profile style pals, like the aforementioned Lagerfeld. Granted, this rumor apparently started on News of the World, which isn't always the most reliable, but if the rumors are true, we're pretty excited to see the results. A fashion endeavor by a starlet that's both timely and age-appropriate; Well played, dear Watson.
